EPCOT yesterday

It was a long day yesterday at EPCOT... we arrived just before the park opened, and left after the fireworks finale. I have posted a few videos on YouTube to keep you going while I sort out some photos from the past day or so.

This was us going on to Soarin' ... one of the best rides in any of the Disney parks, and definitely the best ride at EPCOT

The weather yesterday was quite chilly (enough to need jeans and sweatshirts first thing)...but was lovely later in the day.

Emma and I watched a great Gospel Choir show called JOYFUL! featuring D'Vine Voices.... a great show, a great choir with a brilliant bass player!

It was a very busy day in EPCOT,and we are glad we got there early, as fast passes for most of the rides had been used up by just after lunch time... this is how busy it was:

The end of the day was marked by the Reflections of Earth Firework show....

A day of success

While following instructions, I have been able to comply with several requests.
The first photo is for Maddy, and Emma asked that I point out that these glasses were extortionately priced at $1.79!

The Christmas tree picure is for my very special friend Daniel.... I promised a photo of the biggest Christmas tree I could find... And so far, this is it....

The remaining photos are for Laura... I'm sure she will recognise the shop that Emma spent quite some time visiting :D

Disney's Hollywood Studios

Yesterday we went to Disney's Hollywood Studios.... the day started off with a very heavy rain storm, but by the time we arrived at the park it had pretty much stopped... but it did reduce the numbers of people there... so we had a good day in the park...and we were able to go on any of the attractions we wanted.

Toystory Mania continues to be as popular as before, with all the fast pass tickets distributed before lunch and Emma enjoyed watching the Block Part Bash parade as well as the High School Musical 3 show. Maureen's favourite was the Beauty and the Beast show... and I think my favourite is still Rock n Roller Coaster.

We all had a good day, and loved seeing Fantasmic at the end of the day.... I uploaded a video of the finale to YouTube:

Yesturday at the Magic Kingdom

We all had a good (long) day at the Magic Kingdom yesterday.

It was actually quite quiet there, and so we easily got onto all the rides we wanted to with the longest queue being about 10 minutes..

As we hadn't been in there for years, we even went into the "Hall of Presidents"... its been updated now to include Barrack ....

Emma got captured by the evil Emperor Zurg, met Goofy and we saw a whole host of characters in the various parades etc. The best attraction for me is still "Mickeys Philarmagic"

... its a wonderful mix of 3D, special effects and Disney animation magic....
