Holiday Stuff

What we are doing on holiday

Just to prove that....

we do let her out of the house from time to time.
Today has been spent mainly getting acclimatised and getting all the essential food shopping done.
I think that tomorrow may be similar... with maybe a change in shops... strangely, the girls seem to enjoy shopping! I can't see it myself ;)

Exhausted

.... after being chained to the dishwasher, all day, we decided to let Maureen have a short nap :)

Just to prove that Maureen is indeed with us....

In Walmart

Just getting the essentials.... Toothpaste, loo roll, deoderant, notepaper oh and the obligatory Disney leaflets :)

Queues

Travelling to Orlando is a day of queues,

  • Queuing to check in at Birmingham
  • Queuing to go through passport control
  • Queuing to go through security
  • Queuing to pas through the extra security at the gate
  • Queuing to board the plane at the gate
  • Queuing to get off the plane in New York
  • Queuing to pass through immigration controls 
  • Queuing to pass through the agriculture and customs controls
  • Queuing to re-check your baggage
  • Queuing to pass through security for the flight down to Orlando
  • Queuing to board the plane to Orlando
  • Queuing to get off the plane in Orlando
  • Queuing to collect the hire car in Orlando
  • Queuing to get through the security checks at the car hire car park
but then the best queue of all.....
